Dragon Bones Chili

Do you like it hot? Disclaimer: There are no dragon bones in this chili. Bones is just my husband's childhood nickname. :)


Dragon Bones Chili

Vegan, No Oil and No Salt Added. veggie stock for sautéing (low sodium) 2 Anaheim chilis, roasted, peeled, chopped 1 poblano chili, roasted, peeled, chopped 1 red bell pepper, diced

1 green bell pepper, diced 2 jalapenos, minced 1 yellow onions, diced 3 cloves garlic, minced 2 tablespoons chili powder 1 teaspoons cayenne pepper 1 teaspoons ground coriander 1 teaspoons ground cumin 1 teaspoons granulated garlic 1 teaspoons granulated onion 1 teaspoons smoked paprika 1 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper 1 - 15 oz can tomato sauce (no salt added) 1 - 6 oz can tomato paste (no salt added) 12 ounces lager beer 2 - 15 oz cans kidney beans, with juice (no salt added) 1 - 15 oz cans pinto beans, with juice (no salt added) Optional garnish: Green onions, avocado, red onion, and/or cilantro. Optional additions: Tofu ground beef. Reach out for the recipe. Directions:  Add everything to a slow cooker or CrockPot.  Cook on high for 3 hours and on low for the rest of the day or until thickened. Jay’s Note:  Watch out for low sodium labels that aren’t truly low sodium.  Compare labels!
