Nice cream:
· 2 to 3 peeled and frozen bananas.
· 1/4 cup unsweetened plant milk (optional)
· 1 teaspoon vanilla (optional)
1. Either leave bananas out of the freezer for a couple of minutes or use the plant milk.
2. Add all ingredients to food processor or blender and blend until smooth and creamy. *Avoid over-blending*
3. Scoop into container and pop it into the freezer. For soft serve consistency, use right away. For traditional ice cream consistency, freeze for at least an hour.
Fruit Toppings of Choice:
· 1 small bag frozen fruit (strawberries & pineapple are traditional)
· 2 to 3 tablespoons date syrup
· 1/2 cup water (as needed)
1. Cook fruits separately
2. Add all ingredients of each recipe to a saucepan and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Fruit Toppings of Choice:
1. Soak 6 dates in hot water for 10 minutes.
2. Blend dates and soak water.
3. Add 2 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa and enough water to achieve desired consistency, Blend well.
Assembly:
1. Use an ice cream scoop to add three scoops of ice cream to a dish.
2. Slice a fresh banana lengthwise and add it to either side of the row.
3. Add toppings as desired.
